Starotsurukhaituy: 09:00–21:00 hours extended until December

On 21 September Rosgranstroy said Starotsurukhaituy on the Chinese border would continue operating daily from 09:00 to 21:00 local time, including weekends, until 19 December 2026. This extends the 12-hour schedule; round-the-clock operation was not announced.

Editorial advice: specify the time zone for every window—collection, checkpoint arrival and consignee reception. “By nine” without a local-time reference creates avoidable uncertainty. Ask the carrier to confirm arrival estimates for the entire journey and its stops.

Checkpoint hours are not a guaranteed clearance completion time. Do not plan arrival immediately before closing based on the timetable alone: confirm current admission arrangements, queues and eligibility of the actual cargo separately.

If crossing is followed by transloading or booked warehouse reception, decide who reports the vehicle’s actual departure. Agree a fallback slot and rescheduling contact. For cargo sensitive to storage conditions, discuss acceptable waiting arrangements separately.

Before dispatch, check that all operators have matching goods, package-count and consignee details. Compare complete routes and clearance arrangements when choosing crossings. Extending one checkpoint’s schedule does not prove it suits every consignment better.
