Traffic has opened on an R-354 overpass after the first construction stage. Checking the new section in a route and arranging delivery to a consignee in the Urals.

What opened
On 14 September the transport ministry reported that the Shadrinsky overpass opened to traffic after its first construction stage at km 54–57 of the Yekaterinburg–Shadrinsk–Kurgan R-354. Road and railway traffic now cross at separate levels.
What to check in the route
Editorial advice: ask the carrier to recalculate the complete journey to the warehouse, including operating approaches and exits. Traffic using the new overpass does not mean all nearby work is finished. The driver needs a current route, especially if navigation still uses the old crossing.
For an unusual vehicle combination, check passage parameters and required arrangements separately. Opening a road to general traffic does not automatically establish suitability for oversized equipment. Provide the length, width, height and weight of the actual loaded vehicle.
Assessing the effect on a shipment
Keep the previous estimate and compare it with actual timings over several trips. Record road time, gate waiting and unloading separately: removing a crossing delay does not change warehouse hours. This shows where a real time buffer has appeared.
If delivery feeds a production shift, first agree the revised receiving window. Do not reduce agreed buffers solely because of an opening announcement: other road sections, stops and unloading readiness still affect the final arrival time.
